Ogre Battle 42: Lots of Enemies, But At Least They're Stupid

Rauny, who's taken the field to have words with her estranged fiancee, has made first contact: Demons and Ninjas. I doubt they'll faze her.
And they don't- dead in one. As we liberate towns we find out (I think) that Apros, besides his other genocidal charms, is also the one who murdered Prince Tristan's family. And the prince may be in the area, plotting revenge. The rightful heir to the throne of Zenobia is precisely the type of person who would lend our revolution further legitimacy, so we'll definitely want to meet him.

This smells like trouble: Two Black Knight units heading for two of my high-ALI units at night. Not good. But I've got one deploy left, a pile of Boots, and Warren's not on the field as of yet. We can make this work if worse comes to worse. But I forgot that ordinary Black Knights aren't as bad as Gares. So we're managing. Gilbert's now found as much treasure as he can, so it's time to cut across and get the shop town.

...I suspect Apros kind of wants his fiancee back. But Rauny's not going anywhere, and beyond which I don't want her Alignment to tank. So we move her back a bit to serve as our last resort fighter, and bring in Violet to defend the town.

But some sneak around and face Rauny. Can you tell me what's wrong with this formation? If you said "everything," congratulations! You have a better idea of how to construct effective Ogre Battle units than the game itself does.

Gilbert captures the shop town! Good thing, because we're low on Boots, which they carry here.

And now, it's time for FLAIL to go pay someone a visit...
