I still need to play this. I skipped it on release because I'm a cranky old sod and was upset at the patched-in retcon where your character is recaptured after all that damn effort to escape. Still am, actually, but it seems like such a fun game I may have to relent.

We all kind of forgot how short Portal 1 is! Of course that's why it was included as part of the Orange Box originally instead of being shipped on its own. In a way I see Portal as a precursor to Borderlands. Not in terms of gameplay style, but as one of the first first-person games I played to have a really good, funny script. I'd be amazed if it didn't influence Gearbox in some way.
My turn to flail! Isstvan's face is still hurting him, so I'll take up the ancient art of bearcrafting for a bit. I figured out something of questionable use today!

Got an anecdote for ya re: nausea. My uncle was the baker on an aircraft carrier during World War II. He never got sick. Back during the shareware days, I gave him a copy of Wolfenstein 3D. He couldn't play it because playing it made him seasick.

The car thing was one of the most notable additions to Crayon Physics Deluxe over the original prototype. Deluxe is a much better game, but as I understand it Crayon Physics was coded in something like a day, so that makes sense.
