Pokemon Black 2, Part 3: WANT

And since Isstvan82 had already recorded this weekend's Pokemon Black 2 installments, you get those too!

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation (PS3) Dodge Roll, Chat System, MS-07B Gouf

Beginning today, Gundam Battle Operation is officially our weekend feature!

The Gouf is an amazing melee combat machine in the right hands. Those are not my hands, at least not in this video. I do get the most assists of any player in the match, though, so it's not a total waste.

The King Game: Fight Against Demons - The Card Game

Back in June we alerted you to the existence of a fun little show called The King Game: Fight Against Demons. But did you know that there's merchandise for this obscure Anime gem? Yes, the Fight Against Demons CCG was actually released to bootleggers and flea markets everywhere. And unlike a certain other card game you may have heard of, there are character cards!

Starting of course with Sea Horse, everyone's favorite rich rival.

For some reason Shingnon's name has been translated as "Inside the Town," but who am I to argue with the makers of this fine, entirely licensed and official card game?

I always have trouble calculating the hurting result.

I use a lot of Psychedelic Heat-type monsters in my deck.

And of course, Game's second-best Demon...

Probably calling collect at that.

Ogre Battle 92 (FINAL): Gimme The Prize (Kurgan's Theme)

Not too bad. My Super Special Murder Team is doing its job admirably. We'll see how they do against the bosses. We do a lot of fighting in practically every area of the map. Meanwhile, Kamui liberates Nova Scotia. Well, we had Annapolis, so why not?

Fighting. So much fighting. ALL OF THE FIGHTING. Norn's doing pretty well, though, and everyone else is holding, though Lanselot is having some difficulty holding the town closest to the base. FLAIL's left the base to Debonair, who should be able to manage. If he doesn't we'll boot somebody else back. Lots of interesting drops though- an instant level-up item, a Love And Peace...

But the time for Love and Peace is over. Here we go. Boss Number One is Gares!

Ogre Battle 91: Special Boss Murdering Unit

Alright, let's get moving. This is the last of it, and there are no less than THREE bosses of this stage. They each have different weaknesses and also special dialogue depending on who fights them, so we're going to make a special boss-murdering unit:

Tristan has business with the first boss, Saradin with the second. Norn's Holy magic will help us deal with the third. Again, not to be a coward here, but: no way FLAIL's getting anywhere near any of them.

And here we are. Rashidi's in the southwest, so we're going to send all our fliers to the town closest to him and the shop town. No other stops. We've got to end this.

Pokemon Black 2: The Rig

So how do you capture video off of a DS Lite? Like this!

Ogre Battle 90: Creative Translation Required

I end up having to swap Kamui and Tristan too. They're coming at us from all angles. Tristan is very strong for his level, but that's 8 levels below the Enchanters. I play Lovers so that they drop most of their Acid Clouds on each other, and I think it's the only reason everybody survived. My strategy for placement is this: anyone trying to get to the town in the middle will have to pass Canopus, Saradin or Rauny. I can then move them to compensate. Meanwhile Debonair is free to march to the capital, with his Alignment and Charisma withered by the constant combat as we go, because this is Ogre Battle and that's what happens. I swap Tristan and Kamui AGAIN because now they're coming in from the north. Glad I've got a ton of Seven League Boots. But Tristan comes through this fight okay without card expenditure.

Self-Promotion Mondays: Tropico, Minecraft, Benadryl

This week, we've got some other stuff going: Isstvan82's picked up Tropico 4 now that Katamari Damacy's done with, and of course he's still doing Minecraft!

Meanwhile over at the TF Radio Network, we've got a new(ish) feature called Transformers Rewind, where we get together and look at individual episodes from the long history of Transformers! I was also on Radio Free Cybertron this week, but the less said of that the better. My sinuses were trying to kill me and I was bloody useless. So... here's TF Rewind!
